Residents of Narva-Jõesuu will face higher waste collection costs starting 1 July 2026, after the city government approved a new tariff for mixed household waste removal.

The new rate has been set at 27.68 euros per cubic metre, exclusive of VAT. This represents a notable increase compared to the current tariff of 22.90 euros per cubic metre.

The decision was made by the Narva-Jõesuu city administration, which formally confirmed the updated pricing. No specific reasons for the increase were disclosed in the announcement, though rising operational and logistics costs have been a common driver of waste management fee adjustments across Estonia in recent years.
