The audiobook edition of late Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny's memoir Patriot has been made available free of charge to coincide with what would have been his 50th birthday. The recording can be accessed on the website of publisher One Book Publishing.

The announcement was made by Navalny's widow, Yulia Navalnaya, who has continued to carry forward her late husband's political legacy since his death in a Russian Arctic penal colony in February 2024.

Patriot is a memoir Navalny worked on during his imprisonment, chronicling his life, political career, and the circumstances of his persecution by the Kremlin. The book was published posthumously and has been widely read across Europe and beyond as a testament to one of Russia's most prominent opposition voices.
