Katarina Sits, a 32nd cohort student at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (EMTA) drama school, lends her voice to Ilmar Laaban's poem "Self-Portrait". The performance brings the words of one Estonian literature icon to listeners through a young interpreter.

Ilmar Laaban (1921–2000) was an Estonian poet, art critic and surrealist who emigrated to Sweden after World War II. His work holds a significant place in Estonian literary history, being strongly influenced by the surrealist movement. "Self-Portrait" is among his most well-known works.

EMTA drama school students have for years enriched Estonian cultural life, bringing to the stage and microphone both classical and contemporary literature. The 32nd cohort continues this tradition, giving young actors the opportunity to interpret Estonian literary heritage in a fresh and vivid manner.
