Estonian services exports grew 4 percent in Q1 2025

According to data from Statistics Estonia and the Bank of Estonia, Estonian services exports grew 4 percent year-over-year in the first quarter of 2025. Services were exported worth approximately 3.3 billion, while imports remained at the same level, reaching approximately 2.5 billion.

Estonian services exports grew 4 percent year-over-year in the first quarter of 2025, according to data compiled by Statistics Estonia and the Bank of Estonia. Services imports remained at the same level as the previous year during the same period.

At current prices, services were exported for a total of approximately 3.3 billion. Services imports meanwhile amounted to approximately 2.5 billion. Other business services made up the largest share of exports and are one of the most important components of Estonian services trade.

The services trade balance remained positive, as exports significantly exceeded import volumes. Such a balance shows that Estonia is a net exporter of services, which has a positive effect on the country's current account position.
