Estonia is in the midst of graduation season, and many school leavers face the question of what to wear. Traditionally, shopping malls are the go-to destination, but Õhtulehe's young reporters Eliise and Joonas decided to approach things differently this time – they put second-hand shops to the test.

The experiment showed that it is possible to find stylish graduation outfits at used clothing stores at remarkably affordable prices – for example, one graduation dress cost just 15. This is several times cheaper than new formal wear at fashion boutiques.

Second-hand shopping has become increasingly popular in Estonia in recent years, especially among young people. Growing environmental awareness and a desire to save money have motivated many young people to explore vintage and used clothing offerings. A graduation party is exactly the kind of event where unique and budget-friendly attire can make a greater impression than an expensive branded dress.

Eliise and Joonas's experience proves that with a little patience and creativity, it is possible to find something festive and stylish at second-hand shops – while saving both your wallet and the environment.
