First-ever Baltic joint illustration and animation exhibition opens in Tokyo

An international exhibition titled 'Baltic Island' opens at Spiral Gallery in Tokyo from June 1–14, bringing Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian contemporary illustration and animation to Japanese audiences for the first time on such a scale.

A landmark cultural event is taking shape in Tokyo, Japan, as Spiral Gallery opens its doors to 'Baltic Island' — the first joint exhibition of illustration and animation from all three Baltic states presented to Japanese audiences in this scope. The show runs from June 1 to 14, 2025.
