Kaja Kallas praises Pakistan's diplomatic efforts in Middle East crisis

Kaja Kallas, the EU's High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Policy, has expressed strong appreciation for Pakistan's role in the Middle East tensions. According to Kallas, Islamabad's active diplomacy helped prevent the situation from escalating into a full-scale armed conflict.

Kallas stressed that Pakistan has played an important role in maintaining peace in the region, and the country's diplomatic activities have made a significant contribution to de-escalating international tensions. For the EU, a stabilised Middle East situation is strategically crucial from both security and economic perspectives.

In recent months, Kallas has actively met with various world leaders to coordinate EU foreign policy across multiple crisis zones. The discussions with Pakistan are part of a broader diplomatic initiative through which the EU seeks to contribute to ensuring international stability.
