Tallinn's Theatrum will premiere on 2 June a fresh production from Vanalinna Educational College's (VHK) theatre school, realised in collaboration with the graduating students by director Kristjan Üksküla. The production is titled "Ridiculous Episodes Against One's Will" and is based on the short comedies of French playwright Molière.

The production serves as the final project of the 28th cohort of VHK's theatre school, bringing to the stage young actors who have acquired the necessary skills through years of theatre training. Under Kristjan Üksküla's direction, the finished production promises to deliver audiences a hearty laugh, drawing on Molière's timeless comic characters and situation comedy.

Molière, a towering figure of 17th-century French theatre, is known for his sharp social comedies in which he ridicules human weaknesses and social roles. The young actors from VHK's theatre school breathe new life into these classical characters and bring them to contemporary audiences at Theatrum, located in the heart of Tallinn's old town.
