ЭстонияLääne-Tallinn Central Hospital (LTK) in Tallinn has issued an urgent public warning after it became apparent that scammers are making calls while falsely presenting themselves as hospital staff members.
According to the hospital, the callers claim to represent the medical institution in order to deceive recipients. LTK has stressed that members of the public should treat any unexpected calls purportedly from the hospital with caution, particularly if the caller requests personal information or financial details.
The hospital advises anyone who receives a suspicious call to hang up and contact LTK directly through its official phone numbers to verify whether the call was genuine. Authorities recommend never sharing sensitive personal or banking information over the phone with an unverified caller, regardless of who they claim to be.
