Estonian author Martin Algus's debut novel 'Something Real' has been reprinted after more than eight years. The thriller, centred on a chilling blackmail story, won multiple prestigious literary awards and has been translated into five languages.

Estonian author Martin Algus's acclaimed debut novel Something Real (Midagi tõelist) has returned to bookshops with a fresh print run, more than eight years after its original release. The reprint coincides with renewed public interest in the work, released under the banner of the publishing imprint Filmi tuules.

The novel places readers at the heart of a spine-tingling blackmail story that gripped Estonian audiences upon its first appearance. Its storytelling quality was quickly recognised by the country's literary establishment: the book received the Estonian Cultural Endowment's Annual Prize for Literature in 2018, as well as the Eduard Vilde Literary Award — two of the most respected accolades in Estonian letters.
