Nvidia enters laptop market with new RTX Spark superchip

Nvidia announced the development of a new RTX Spark superchip at Computex in Taipei. The chip will reach third-party Windows laptops in autumn 2026.

Graphics processor manufacturer Nvidia has announced its entry into the laptop market at a new level – the company is developing a superchip called RTX Spark, which is expected to reach consumers in autumn 2026. The announcement was made at the 2025 Computex trade show in Taipei.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang revealed at the show that the RTX Spark chip will power third-party Windows-based laptops. Detailed technical specifications and partner company names were not disclosed.

Nvidia has so far been primarily known for its discrete graphics cards and data centre accelerators, but RTX Spark marks the company's direct entry into the integrated laptop chip segment, currently dominated by Apple, Qualcomm and Intel.
