Pärnu's Great Food Street Festival brings record number of Latvian vendors

The Great Pärnu Food Street festival takes over Lai Street on May 30–31, bringing over 60 mobile kitchens from Estonia and neighbouring countries. This year's highlight is a record number of Latvian street food vendors — the largest such selection ever seen in Pärnu. Entry to the event is free for all visitors.

Pärnu's iconic Lai Street will transform into a massive open-air food alley this weekend, as the Great Pärnu Food Street festival returns on May 30 and 31. The two-day culinary event is one of the summer capital's most anticipated gatherings, drawing food lovers from across Estonia.

This year's festival boasts a record-breaking lineup of Latvian street food vendors — more southern neighbours than have ever participated in the Pärnu event before. Alongside the Latvian contingent, visitors can explore offerings from over 60 mobile kitchens representing Estonia and other neighbouring countries, making it the most internationally diverse edition yet.

Entry to the festival is free of charge, giving everyone the chance to sample a wide range of unique flavours without paying an admission fee. Organisers say the event is designed to celebrate street food culture and strengthen cross-border culinary ties in the Baltic region.
