Renowned radio personality Alari Kivisaar (59) has offered a rare glimpse into his long-standing marriage to his wife Hille in an episode of Õhtuleht's programme "Elektritool". This autumn, the couple will celebrate their 36th wedding anniversary.

Kivisaar spoke candidly in the programme about the quarrels that have erupted between the couple over the years. According to him, it is typical behaviour for women to seek a culprit in conflicts — and Hille is no exception in this regard.

When asked whether their relationship has ever been on the brink of separation, Kivisaar answered honestly, touching on subjects that long-term couples rarely discuss publicly. In his view, long-term cohabitation requires continuous work from both partners and mutual understanding.
