Sepp Kuss wins first stage victory at Giro d'Italia

American cyclist Sepp Kuss claimed his first stage win at the Giro d'Italia, taking the 151-kilometre 19th stage from Feltre to Alleghe. His Team Visma | Lease a Bike teammate Jonas Vingegaard retains the overall lead.

American cyclist Sepp Kuss of Team Visma | Lease a Bike claimed victory on the 19th stage of the Giro d'Italia, finishing the 151-kilometre route from Feltre to Alleghe with a time of 4:28.33. It marks Kuss's first stage win at this year's Italian grand tour.

Despite Kuss taking the stage honours, it is his Danish teammate Jonas Vingegaard who continues to hold the overall leader's jersey. Vingegaard remains firmly in control of the general classification as the race heads towards its final stages.
