Estonian singer Stefan Airapetjan (28), also known as a grill master, has spoken candidly about the challenges of running a restaurant in Estonia. The artist with Armenian roots says that the catering business is not appealing at all, and music is a far more lucrative enterprise for him.

Stefan confirmed that despite his experience in the restaurant sector, he has no plans to open a new Italian food establishment. "Music brings in more money for me than grilled meat," the singer said bluntly. This admission gives an idea of how difficult conditions are in Estonia's catering sector at present.

The restaurant business in Estonia has faced numerous challenges in recent years — high labour and food costs, changing consumer habits, and overall economic slowdown have forced many entrepreneurs to rethink their operations. Stefan is one of those who has decided to focus on a creative career instead.
