Taaramäe finishes sixth in Japan Velotour team time trial
Estonian cyclist Rein Taaramäe and his Kinan Racing Team claimed sixth place in the 11.4-kilometre team time trial at the Japan Velotour (UCI 2.2) on Wednesday.
СпортEstonian professional cyclist Rein Taaramäe took part in the team time trial stage of the Japan Velotour (UCI 2.2) on Wednesday, finishing sixth alongside his teammates at Kinan Racing Team over the 11.4-kilometre course.
The team time trial format offered a distinctly different experience compared to individual stage racing, with riders required to work in close coordination to post the fastest collective time. Taaramäe and Kinan Racing Team completed the discipline in sixth place overall.
The Japan Velotour, classified as a UCI 2.2 event, continues to serve as an important race on the Asian cycling calendar. Taaramäe has been a key figure for Kinan Racing Team and remains one of the most prominent Estonian cyclists currently competing at the professional level.
