Tallinn firefighters rescue abandoned ducklings from sewer opening

On 2 June at 10:38, the emergency call centre received a report that ducklings had fallen into a sewer opening on Pirita Street in central Tallinn. Firefighters responded to the call and safely retrieved the animals.

In central Tallinn on Pirita Street, ducklings got into trouble when they fell through a street sewer grate opening. The incident was reported to the emergency call centre on 2 June at 10:38.

Firefighters went to the scene and pulled the helpless birds out of the sewer opening. Such calls are rare for firefighters, but show that help is also provided to animals.
